Frequency of Traumatic Dental Injuries to Anterior Teeth Among 7 to 14 Year-Old School Children

Objective: To determine the prevalence of traumatic injuries to anterior teeth among 7 14 year-old school children. Design: It was a cross-sectional study. Study Settings: This study done in 10 Government & Private High Schools Lahore, Pakistan from November 2021 April 2022. Material and Methods: There were total 2230 students between ages participated Oral examinations structured questionnaires used gather data, which included socioeconomic factors. Results: Total 11.3 percent permanent current had TDI. found that there is considerable gender difference incidence dental trauma, with more boys than girls experiencing it. Fall-related accounted for majority TDI cases (68.5 percent), then sports (11.2 percent). The maxillary central incisors frequently broken, enamel-related fractures being most reported. frequent injury noted an enamel fracture. Conclusion: Children age moderate TDI, it advised regular oral health education programmes about causes techniques avoiding be implemented.
